The Peg Powler Gallery at Green Dragon Studios is a new alternative art space for the north east. Located in the gallery room of Green Dragon Studios, Peg Powler Galery will support and encourge local artists and and showcase art from the area in a relaxed and friendly environment. A place to enjoy art, meet people, and be creative.

Peg Powler's Gallery's first event was 'Operation Bad Art: The Bad Art Show' by AJ Garrett and was open to everyone every Monday evening during February 6pm-9pm. Art fans came to see some artwork, drink tea and green wine, create, read art zines, and draw on special art-cakes. A book of pictures from the exhbition will be available at future Peg Powler events.

Following this succesfull first show Peg Powler Gallery is now progamming its first long term series of exhbitions. Soon the Gallery will open again with a new show every month, the gallery open one night a week as a place to have fun, relax and enjoy art.
