In his other metal and rock musical lives (No School Reunion, Exit By Name, Skeat, Alsatian) Phil’s received a couple of KKKK reviews in Kerrang, had radio plays and played sessions for the likes of Marc Riley, Huw Stephens and Bob Fischer and supported everybody from Gallows to Biffy Clyro.
As a solo act Phil has shared stages with such luminaries as Frank Turner, Chris T-T, Franz Nicolay, Luke Leighfield, Jose Vanders and many more. His debut EP ‘So Much For The Aftershow’ picked up some lovely reviews. The loveliest from DieShellSuit Zine : “I guarantee you will find something about this record to fall in love with”. Influenced by a lifetime of rock, he also enjoys stuff like Willy Mason, Grandaddy and Graham Coxon.
He’s taking the stage in his spiritual home, The Georgian Theatre, with a full live rock ensemble to celebrate the release of his brand new full length album Hardcore Folklore. Everyone that comes to the gig gets a complimentary copy of the new CD, which goes on general sale the Monday after the show!
